Hi Nats, sorry to see you are not feeling well, lets hope you get better soon. Nanny has been nagging me to get an address so she can write a proper letter to you, none of this computer stuff!!, We did try to get her to use the lap top, I think she's still in shock. We have all been keeping up with your travels, and Molly was particular interested in teasing Nanny about the snake shots. We are all well, and enjoying your website.

Hello everyone!!!

Sorry I have not been in touch with you all for a few days, but I have not been very well. Thought it was the flu, but after going to the doctor today, found out I have tonsillitus and if it has not gone by next week I have to have a blood test for glandular fever. Im soooo annoyed!!! What a stupid thing to do, get tonsillitus in Australia of all places!! Never mind. Got some pills so hopefully they will work.
Anyway, not much to tell this time as I have been in bed and not really done anything! Hope you are all well. So nice to hear from the drunk ones in Salisbury!!! Glad to hear you are still leading my mother astray!
Mandy, yipee you are back!!! Missed ya! Please send me an email, i want every single detail of your holiday! By the way, love the shower email!! So funny!

I did send an emial last week, I think it must still be in system, as my sister in the states has just rung to ask why I not been in touch with her I have sent her four emails, perhaps I am pressing the wrong key.
I have a new system and at my age I think I should have spent the money on carrier pidgins. I have read all your messages and looked at your photos I can seen you are both having a great time. Nothing much has happened since I last saw you, my silicon implants fell out, and I find keeping my brain [what brain I hear you say] in the fridge difficult to adjust to. Violet looks to be a sturdy form of transport it would fit in very in the Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxey, hope you will continue to have a good time. Good luck with the job hunting.

Well, how gorgeous is Violet looking now!!!! We are in the middle of putting up her pink curtains and pink ceiling and she is going to be so girly!!!!!! Jeni, you will love her when you see her in July!!!
Anyway, still in Townsville job hunting. No luck yet, but we are still trying. Fingers crossed we will get something soon, or we will have to move further down south to get some fruit picking work which will be ok. I think we will definately stay here until after Nikki's birthday.
Better go now as we have lots to do, and we have to get ready for our Black and White posh party tonight!!!!

You have now heard about the 205 breaking down with Charlie driving - she's doing a good job of finishing the car off. Anyway, Gareth and I eventually fixed it.....I wonder what next for the third thing to go wrong?
I am making sure your car gets started and running every 2 weeks....it's fine!
Ken (next door) died the week before last - Rose was pretty upset and we have been having her around a lot to keep her company and to help her through this difficult period.

Hi everyone!! Thanks to you all for the messages. Well, we are on Magnetic Island and have been since thursday. We met up with Tina from the Bangkok tour and spend the day with her, catching up and laughing about our days on the tour. We managed to get in the same dorm room as her which was good so we spent most of the night in the bar at the Base backpackers place, then went to our room, which we shared with some very strange guys!!!
Yesterday, we said goodbye to Tina and, checked into our next hostle, Maggies beach house at Horseshoe Bay and spent the day on the beach and by the pool, not doing much which felt really nice! After drinking the happy hour jugs of cocktails, We treated ourselves last night and had a posh meal out. 3 course dinner, fairly cheap and the nicest food!!!
Guess what we did this morning!! We went horse riding through the bush and on Horseshoe beach. It was a two and a half hour trek and well worth it! I was on a horse called Honey, (same name as the elephant in Thailand!) and Nikki's was called Matilda. We started off slowly walking, then we got up to trotting, then, i even managed to canter!!!!!! So scary! When we got to the beach it was just beautiful! Clear skies, calm, blue water and the best views! After cantering along the beach, we stopped and got into our bikinis, then rode the horses bare back into the sea so they could have a swim. It was such an amazing thing to do and i would definately do it again!
It also helped that there was a rather nice cowboy style guy at the ranch!! (He didnt have a cowboy hat though! - dissappointing! )
Well, now we are going to relax by the pool and on the beach again. Tomorrow will be much the same, and we get the evening ferry back to Townsville, and back to Sam and Shaun who we miss! We will get back just in time for the begginning of Aussie Big Brother!!!

I love the ones of Annette I am going to phone her and tell her. Just heard your English prime minister Mr Tony Blair has just got in again. Where are you staying over there? Nanny is getting on fine now - doing more and more walking - perhaps she might go backpacking with me in the summer!
Weather has started to warm up nicely here - the gardens are looking great - getting ready to replace the bathroom - all the bits are arriving from B and Q. Looking forward to working with Mike again, and a boozy week with him and Leslie.
School is fine - new building plans going at pace now.
