hello huni, just wanted to post a quick message to say hello. nothing really to report. joes back from his holiday and has been lovely! so nice to have him home! but we still arent a proper couple blah blah blah! MEN!!!! hehehe. still not got a job! oh dear! but i will be making a trip to the job center very very soon! anyway just wanted to say hi! and that im still missing you and awaiting ur return. should have a job by then! i hope!

Hi again! Just to let everyone know, we have now arrived in Melbourne. We had a few good days in Adelaide, a lovely place. The best thing we did though, was go out dolphin swimming in the wild! It was very cold, even in the wetsuits, but it was so amazing! The dolphins got so close to us! We saw loads, and they came in really close and i managed to see them close up above and below the water, even though it was a little murkey! We also got given a dvd of the trip, but we havent played it yet and we didnt know they were taking photos so it may be quite embarrasing! We did a lot of sightseeing in Adelaide and I really liked it. Today we got the coach to Melbourne. It was a tough 12 hour journey, but we made it! We have checked into our accom which gives us free internet, (in the bar of all places!) and free meals! I only have three days here before I fly to Tassie!!! Ahh! Its strange to think that we will be leaving Oz soon! But Im so excited about the rest of the trip. Anyway, better go, but thought I would check in and let you know where I am. Hi everyone! Well, Nik and I have now left our jobs and we are getting ready to fly to Adelaide tomorrow morning at 6:55am! Sydney has been great but Im really looking forward to moving onto somewhere new. Today has been the best last day in Sydney. At 10am we went on a free sightseeing cruise thanks to my boss. It was a beautiful morning and it was a great start to the day. At 11am we went on a free jet boat ride thanks to Pascall, a nice guy I made friends with who is so crazy! It was great! So fast and we got soaked when he spun the boat around in the harbour! So much fun! After saying goodbye to the place that has been my working home for the last month, we left the harbour. We then went to the health club/spa at the Hilton where a guy called Ted I met in our dorm room managed to get me two free entry tickets for a day! So we spent the afternoon in the gym, pool, spa bath, sauna and steam room! We left there and stopped off to get a quick hair cut on the way home (we couldnt resist! It was cheap and the first for 5 months!!!) We have now arrived back at the hostel feeling totally pampered! We are just about to get glammed up to go out for a meal in Darling Harbour with our friends from our dorm for our last night! Its a tough life at the moment and Im so excited to be moving on tomorrow! Hope you are all well! xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Gday everyone! Just a quick update, work is going well, im enjoying it and everyone is really nice and lots of fun. Im learning how to open and close and cash up and stuff now so I should start running my own show a bit more soon which will be really good! Went out with Jenny and Claire, our Scottish friends from the Thailand tour a few nights ago which was lots of fun. We ended up in the world bar in kings x drinking shots out of teapots!!!! Very random! Last night we went to the Hard Rock cafe with our new friend Becky (from Southampton) and we ended up having too many cocktails, and being the last ones there! We made friends with our waiter and stayed after hours having drinks with the staff!!! Suffered a bit at work this morning but it was so worth it!! How cool! Sorry I have not contributed to your message board for a while - I love to read what you have been up to. Thanks for ringing up so often - so clear it seems you are just down the road! I'd be interested in looking at any good O.S. - type maps that you may have been using, especially when you get to New Zealand.
Had a great couple of holidays in the Yorkshire Dales. Last week with the Haunchers' group we managed some great walks in wonderful weather. As I said to you on the phone, we may be trying the Coast to Coast again next year.
Charlie has had another accident....this time it was her fault - not realising that a large car had stopped in front of her.......I am quite cross because, although it is still just driveable, we were due to sell the car when she goes to University, but now with the insurance excess, I think it will probably end up as scrap because the cost of repair will be more than the car is worth. It has been an expensive summer one way or another!
When you go to N.Z. could you please collect up or send information about lovely places that you visit - it is one place that I would love to visit in the future.

Hi Nats and Nik. Just viewed the photies. I must say Nats they are much better than the ones you took when we were over there (I know it was night time but I think you running around saying "Look at that, Look at that" had something to do with the wobbly photies). Glad the jobs are going well and you are enjoying the work. Keep practising "No worries Mate" and I am sure you will be able to pass for "An Aussie" and not "A Pom" Nats. Gday everyone! Just a quick message to say that I have added some more photos onto here for you to laugh at. Nikki is doing well at work, and starting to make some appointments which is good, and my work is going really well! Im getting good at selling the cruises to tourists! I even went out and worked on the boat the other day as they were short staffed, so I got to practise my waitressing skills, not easy on a moving boat! I have also been out on a few of the free cruises, one of which, I met an Indian rock star onboard who is apparently at Number one in India and played in the Opera House the other day! I also had my photo taken to be in the paper yesterday for answering some silly question about what i thought of reality tv shows! Its good fun, and I love the fact that I am outside all day, looking at the bridge and the Opera House! Anyway, we are both well, enjoying city life, I even got asked for directions yesterday and I knew the answer! I must look like an Aussie! Haha. Anyway, talk to you all soon, Love Nat xxxxxxxxxxxx
