Hey everyone! Well, since Kaikora, we have been on the ferry across to Wellington, which was just a city really so we didnt spend much time there. Then it was off to Rotorua, where we went to the Polynesian Spa and spent a few hours soaking in the 42C hot pools overlooking Lake Rotorua which was lovely. Anna, a nice girl we made friends with, and I decided to try zorbing! It is so much fun! They basically put you inside a big plastic ball, put loads of water in, and push you down a hill! Its like a huge water slide insde a ball! I imagine it's what my hamster Chubby use to feel like when he was put in his plastic ball and ran around the house, only without the water! Anyway, we also went out to Waitomo and did some cave tours. One was a limstone cave which was very impressive, and the other was a glow worm cave. There were thousands, and they looked like stars! It was lovely. We also did a walk between the two caves for a few hours which was good, but very muddy! Then we went off to Auckland and the Bay of Islands which is where I left Nikki as I fly to Fiji tomorrow! Im so excited! It should be good fun! And its now less than a week till I come home!!!!! Yipee! Looking forward to seeing you all. Love Nat PS. I have finally put some more photos on here for you all. xxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi Nats. Lovely to talk to you tonight. Bit of a shock though I was expecting to speak to Ruth, then a little voice chirps up with "Hi Wenchie" ....... who else could it be but you! Glad to hear that you can do most of the trip with Nik, like I said to you the time will fly by now so make the most of it. Hope you have a great time in Fiji and the weather is kinder to you than it was to Dennis and Pam when they went over there.
Anyway have fun (not too much now). Watch out for those cocktails!!! See you soon. Love and kisses

Hello everyone! Well, Im now in Kaikora and we leave for the North Island and Wellington tomorrow! It has gone so quick! Well, I have seen some amazing waterfalls, mountains and lakes and it really is a beautiful place to be. The glacier hike was fantastic. It was so much fun and like something I have never done before! We went through ice caves, and huge crevasses and it was brilliant. I also went skiing on the Cardrona mountain in Queenstown for the first time which was lots of fun, but I dont think Im going to make it to proffessional level any time soon! The Kiwi experience has been really good do far. We have made lots of friends and had lots of fun on day trips and nights out. It was quite sad to say goodbye to a lot of them in Christchurch as they had already done the North Island, but Im sure we will all keep in touch. Im still travelling with Nik and we have worked it so that we do almost all of NZ together which is great. We are also still with a couple of good friends we have met along the way. Anyway, not long now! Only 9 days until I fly to Fiji then 14 days until I come home! Ahh! I cant wait to see you all, but it will be weird not living out a rucksack and having the little luxuries that I have missed! Anyway, gotta go, but keep in touch and I will try to get some photos on here in the next few days. Love Nat xxxxxxxxx PS My phone number wont work now as it was an Aussie sim, so email is the best way to conatct me, or you can call Nik's UK number but it does cost her to recieve calls and texts. xxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello! Thanks for the message Dad! Nice to hear from you, I will call soon. We are now in New Zealand! We are on the Kiwi experience which is basically our transport around. There are lots of nice people in the group and it is lots of fun. Yesterday we left Christchurch and went to Mahenapua where we stayed in a little pub style hostel. In the evening we had a theme night which was a Toga party! So we all went out wearing white sheets for $4!! It was a fun night but everyone was quite quiet and sleepy on the bus today! After a long day we got to Franz Josif, and we stay here for two nights. Tomorrow we do a glacier hike which im really looking forward to! We saw it today and it was amazing! Anyway, just wanted to let you all know that i was ok. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hi everyone! Well, I made it to Tasmania safe and sound! I arrived at my hostel, The Pickled Frog at about 10am so I had plenty of time to explore Hobart. I also ended up going to Richmond, a small little village which was lovely, and then got back to my hostel. I met Adam, who is taking over the hostel and asked him what I should do with my free days and we ended up driving up to the top of Mt Wellington in his posh Jaguar for the sunset! It was amazing, snow everywhere too! Yesterday I explored Hobart and went up the mountain again so I could do some of the walking tracks up there which was great. In the afternoon, I went on a cruise around the river, and went to the museum. Today I did an organised tour to Port Arthur on the South Peninsular which was great. We explored the ruins of the old jails and did another cruise around the area. The drive there was gorgeous! Tomorrow I am off to Freycinet National Park and wineglass bay which should be good, then off to meet Nik in New Zealand! Hope you are all well. xxxxxxxxxxx

Hey Natski Nee Nee.
Thanks for your message, I am missing your lots but keeping busy with a little bit of stocking up from the shops, and sorting my plans out for New Zealand. Guess what I have for dinner, pasta and a whole loft of bread-osps!! Glad your having a good time, miss the linkage too....and me also (I hear you say!!!!). Anyway just to keep you informed catching the 6am shuttle bus from the corner of Finders Lane, which will take one hour to airport. Slightly different from yours. Then check in at 7am, fly at 9.10am. I am due to arrive at 2.30pm so most likely I will send you a text around 3.30pm to let you know I have got there safely. So exciting a whole new country, at least you will be here soon to join in. Right off to get some lunch and too plan around with dates, destinations etc.
Love you loads. Hope you are having a good day. PS hows the pickled frog.
Love

Hello, yet again! Just an update for you. We have now been in Melbourne for two days. Its a nice place, but probably my least fav Aussie city that I have seen. Yesterday we went sightseeing and in the evening went to the theatre to watch Dirty Dancing on stage! It was fantastic and Johnny wasn't too bad either! Today we have done a Great Ocean Road tour which was really good, but it rained a little. Tomorrow is our last day in Oz together! Boo Hoo! We are doing a tour of the Neighbours set in the afternoon, then probably out for one drink then an early night as I have an early flight to Tasmania on Sunday. Im very excited! I have a bit of an itinerary for there which I will let you know when I arrive. It will be weird being on my own, and I will miss Nik. We haven't been apart yet! But Im excited to see how I handle it on my own. Dont worry everyone, I will keep in touch and call Nik each day, and I will let someone at the hostel know where I am and what Im doing. Anyway, id better go. Thanks for the messages on here. Hope to hear from you all soon. Nat xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
