Hi again everyone!! Im really making good use of the free internet!! Went to the night safari last night. It was really good, but of course a bit sad as the animals are in captivity. I held a big python, (Sam you would have been proud!), had my picture taken with an owl, and cuddled a Simba lookalike. Think it was a tiger cub of some kind but so cute!! The weird things was that we went to watch the creatures of the night show and it was a weird American guy doing the show and he just looked so out of place!! 5 of us went and we went on the tram ride which was good, but half way through we got off so we could do the 20 minute Leopard trail, and over an hour later, we realised we had got completely lost in the fake jungle, and it turns out we had walked around the entire safari!! Oooops!! We saw lots of animals though. All the staff thought it was very funny and they all laughed at us! Well, its the last day of the tour. Boo Hoo. Its weird but we just realised that we are flying to Aus tomorrow night!! How funny! It will be really sad to leave everyone, but we are all going out tonight for a huge goodbye party!!!! Its ok, Nik and i have booked a late check out time tomorrow!!!!
So the next time i speak to you guys i will be in Australia!! Bring on the surfers!!

Hi everyone!! We are in Singapore now. Yipee!! Cant say a lot about it yet cause we only got here this afternoon. It seems a really impressive place. So many rules though. No littering, no chewing gum on the floor etc etc. But it pays off because it is so clean and nice. We are sad to have left Malaysia. Its a beautiful country and i would love to spend some more time there to explore properly, but on with the tour. I have put a few more postcards on the site for you to have a look at. We really enjoyed the hotel in Melaka. We had a bath tub!!!!! yipee!!!!! i put sooooo many bubbles in there! It also had a jacuzzi on the roof and a bar/restaurant downstaires and really friendly staff. The hotel we are in now is really nice too and guess what, FREE INTERNET!!!!! So i should be able to catch up on my emails and stuff. We are getting quite sad now as the tour ends in two days and we will have to leave everyone. Almost all of the others are going on to Aus though so im sure we will all meet up there which will be fun. Cant wait to get to Aus now!!!!! Tonight we are going to the night safari that everyone raves about which sounds good. Then tomorrow its exploring time and then out for our last night as a group. Boo Hoo. It should be a good night though. Anyway, thanks to you all for the emails and messages. Its nice to hear from you all. Speak soon,

Well, just a quick message for Samantha (and Nats and Nik). Do you know how to make people jealous or what!!!! Think of me!!!!!! I am at work and it is pouring with rain. Just you lot make sure you all behave yourselves (especially Linda) and watch out for Samantha's driving - "GO SAM GO". Great to hear that you are having such a wonderful time - it is well deserved. I am now officially on 4 wks paid holidays (yay) and looking forward to seeing you both. What can I say - life is tough in Aus...

Let me see - where to start - Townsville is hot hot hot (weather wise). We had a couple of nice cooler days, but today was blimmin hot. Hope you both packed your togs (aussie slang for swimming costumes/bikinis/whatever you want to wear in the water) and sunscreen. Beautiful blue skies with no rain, no snow, no need for cold clothing here at all. Hoped you packed your summer gear.

Magnetic Island awaits you (or should I say your Mum's Island Nats) as do the Koala's and Big Snakes at the Billabong Sanctuary. Even that fat crocodile wants to say hello to you both - in the nicest possible way of course !
