Nanny had operation 12.30 today - all went well - was awake throughout although numbed from the waist down. We will visit her on Monday....I expect cheeky Frank will be around to cheer her up.
Have a good visit to the 'Bridge over the River Kwai' tomorrow.
I'll keep you informed about nanny's progress.

Hi everyone, its me again!!! Just wanted to let you all know that i am having problems with my phone card. Basically its not working from pay phones!! So i will keep trying to call you but if i cant, dont worry, im fine! As soon as i get a sim card in Aus then i can call you all. Had a good day today, explored a bit of the city and went to the Grand Palace. Very impressive. Met our tour leader and he is a really nice young English guy and he seems like a bit of a laugh. We are going out to dinner with him and the rest of the group tonight which should be fun!
Anyway, tour starts tomorrow and its quite a busy schedule for the next few days, but i will email and message you all when i can. I might be far too busy lying on a beach though!!!

Hi everyone from sunny and hot Bangkok!!! We have arrived safely and having a really good time so far. Hotel is nice and the people are very friendly. There is lots of internet access so we will go on as much as we can (when we are not off having fun of course!!) The flight was good, even saw a Jonny Depp film so we were happy! Met a few friends already, one in particular named Debbie who showed us the sites last night and we ended up getting through quite a few bars and cocktails too!!!
