Tasmania is possibly the first place I have been where I felt like I was at home! It was a lovely place! I stayed at a hostel called the Pickled Frog in Hobart and the people there were really nice! I made lots of friends there. I spent some time exploring the city, going on a cruise and things and going up Mt Wellington twice! It was all snowy at the top and I even got to make a snowman! We only had a few days in Melbourne, and it was a nice city, but probably my least favourite that I have seen in Australia. First day we did a walking tour of the city which was good once we actually found the place where it started! It has a lot of little cosy cafes and restaurants which is really nice, and it is nice by the river, but its just a city really. Gday from Adelaide! It is a really nice city. It is small and has more old buildings than high rises which makes a welcome change! We spent a day at the Hunter Valley which was great, but not long enough! We went out early in the morning and met John the Pom, (a friend of my Uncle Alan's) at the bus station. He drove us, (in my uncle Roy's old car!!) to his house in the heart of the valley. It was absolutely beautiful! He has a fantastic view.
