Viva Brazil!
This is the side of the falls we visited today in Argentina - yesterday we saw them on the Brazilian side. They don't look quite like this at the moment as they havnt had much rain since November so only the Garganta de Diablo (the Devil's Throat) area has a lot of water.
The view is still amazin though. We walked along a forest path and were surrounded by racoons, which was great as they were really adorable, until they became fearless and started climbing onto the path and trying to get into our bags!!
There were millions of butterflies and lizards everywhere and strange spiders aswell. I have some amazing pictures of the falls which I can hopefully put on in a minute.
Later we went to a bird park, which also had anaconda (so we now know what to swim away from when snorkelling!!!), vultures and boa constrictors. Then we entered into a massive avairy with giant parrots which swooped down to land on you.
Today, we mostly walked the trails on the Argentine side of the falls, which means being over the top of the Devil's Throat, then did a 4x4 journey to a boat trip up the river and back again through the sub-terranean jungle. Really humid, but gorgeous all the same.
Later we are going to see a samba show and then go clubbing - good thing is that girls get in free!! hehe.
Speak soon
