So our second night bus did not go to plan.... We got transferred to a different, very dodgy, bus company and spent 12 hours on a top bunk swearing at the drivers driving skills. These companies have an annoying habit of 'reserving' all the best seats for locals they pick up along the way for cash. I think the highlight of the trip had to be the rest stop where Tash was accompanied in the drop toilet by a rather large cockroach...
Getting to Nha Trang we spent an hour trying to find our guest house, they kindly let us in at 6 30am. The first room we had was an impressively damp, dingy box but they let us 'upgrade' to a larger, damp box. It rained all day and we napped. Possibly not one of our best days this trip, but they happen!
Today we canceled the rest of our stay there and checked into a really nice hotel. Spending a whole £10 a night we've got a lovely little room with an actual bathroom - luxury!!
Its sunny today, we decided on a trip to the beach to make the most of the weather. The sea is choppy, making for great wave jumping. Didn't realise quite how hot it is tho, and after 2 hours we're both a little pink.
Hotel pot noodles (totally living in luxury) and a trip to a photography studio and see the fishing village in store this afternoon. Nha Trang still feels like we're in the Russian version of Malaga, but it's got so many good restaurants we might spend a few days eating our around the city - naturally!
