Lazy last morning in Hanoi (it's not our fault.... Our room had cable!), a visit to the prison and a lazy lunch in the old quarter. Time to venture on our first night bus (let's hope this one leaves...) and a 14hr trip to hue

After the nightmare journey to Vientiane it's safe to say we felt pretty smug getting our 45 minute flight into Vietnam last night. I'm not sure either of us would have been able to face a 30 hour sleeper bus. So we're now in crazy crazy Hanoi and have spent the day wandering around soaking up the craziness. After trying many strange travel agents we finally found a decent one and have booked a 3 day Halong bay cruise starting tomorrow. The rest of the day was s...
