We have arrived in Chesapeake, VA, which is just outside of Norfolk, VA where we will board the MV Explorer tomorrow. We have had a great time traveling with the Snows who have driven us all the way from Murphy, NC. Tomorrow, the faculty and staff will board between 1pm and 3pm and then we will sail at 5:00pm. Our first stop is Halifax, Nova Scotia where we will pick up the college students. In the mean time, we will be finalizing our lesson plans and attending faculty orientation. We are so excited to see what our room will look like, and to explore the ship. We will take some pictures and post them as soon as we can.

Pat Davis We have some wonderful memories of Halifax. We were there during the Buskers' Convention several years ago. It was the most fun! Also, loved the cool climate there in summer! Have fun.
