On the morning we were to arrive in San Diego, CA (our home) we awoke to Neil Diamond's "Coming to America" being played throughout the entire ship at 6:30am. It was so exciting! We are finally in our home time zone! It feels really strange, but everything feels strange right now. Since I last wrote we have had a very busy time. We had a Reading Day, then 3 days of exams. After that, the faculty graded like crazy people because we had to turn in our grades by 3:00pm yesterday. Today we arrived in HAWAII!!! We docked in Honolulu this morning at 6:00am and we were so excited. The entire ship was on their cell phones calling their friends and parents because this was the first port where they would work unless you were willing to pay huge international fees. Have you ever felt like you lived the same day twice? Well today we have! Yesterday was Nov. 27th and today, for us, is Nov. 27B. Why? Because today, or sometime very soon we will be passing the International Date Line. All those hours that we have lost throughout the trip just came back to us so now we are on the same day as the US but we are 7 hours behind the East Coast.
