PARENTAL GUIDANCE REQUIRED

ok we went to fraser islan, had a day of driving - didn't do too bad in the old 4x4 on the sand and the like, camped up - and then today there was s*** weather coming and we had to evacuate the island - the other 2 buses stayed - apparently this storms bringing tsunami effects and all trips until monday are now cancelled, i hope they make it back safe even though i would say i told you so coz they were t*** (actually they were far worse) from the word go.

to sum up it's been the worst couple of days in my opinion since leaving home, a good shower and a decent night's sleep for the first time in 5 days will be a godsend - first though some drinks with the awesome people on our bus who have encouraged me and thanked me for my driving (it wasn't me the entire time - reynolds did the pressurised bit today when we were in a rush coz the tide was coming in and we had to be off the beachin an hour...) and when the others were being complete k*** told me to ignore them, coz we ike the awesome people on our bus - and it just goes to show that when you've got a gut instinct that something's going to go to s*** think about the circumstances - the idiots that stayed at the lake were still there when we were driving back as the tide was coming in quick an hour from the ferry barge and way over an hour due to fishing tournament traffic to the only safe camspite in stormy weather on the island...

anyway the important this is i'm safe, reynolds is safe and all our friends are safe, we're going to chill out and treat ourselves to a few drinks tonight and going to get some fab sleep if it kills me - think i'll take the aid of paracetemol or nytol.

hope you've all had a good couple of days, don't be worried with how arsey i sound in this message - still venting as haven't quite had a real chance - as you can apreciate i'm with people 24/7 and as great as they are at helping it's not fair to take the full force out on them - they haven't slept for days either you know...
