A new week of pregnancy an new week on the beach!
Become a mum makes me more responsible and I actually used sun screen all day and spent the hottest hours in the hammock in front of my hut in the shade.

After a 12h train ride south to Surat Thani in a really comfortable 2nd class AC sleeper compartment I ended up getting herded onto a backpacker bus, being driven through half the province and finally getting on a boat first to kho samui then to kho phangan. By 1pm I had checked into a cute hut on long beach in haad yaow and was holding the bump into the sun.

It is full moon party time and everybody is asking me why I don't drink and don't want to go to the party - I guess I don't look as pregnant as I think I do... But admittedly and without being vain, I'm in better shape than the chubby teens with their beer bellies ;)

So while the bump is tanning (responsibly) the baby is enjoying the snorkelling, me floating in the water and him floating inside me. This week I might feel him kick for the first time! Can't wait!!!
