Oh my god! I woke up this morning, took a shower and looked into the neon lit mirror in my bathroom and noticed two enormous blue veins across my boobs! They are scary looking, like on weightlifters arms - thank god they are covered by my bikini...

A couple of days ago I went on a tour around the island with Evan from new jersey who has no idea either how old I am or how pregnant. We went to a beautiful waterfall in the middle of kho phangan and swam in the cool pond at its foot. After that we went to the Chinese temple close by followed by some delicious home made ice cream. Mango and jack fruit to die for!
We then continued to haad rin, where the full moon party takes place and spend a couple of hours at the super crowded sunrise beach. The sand is soft and White and the sea shallow and of an intense turquoise, definitely the place to be were it not for the chubby, tattooed beer drinking teenagers waiting anxiously for the full moon party. Evan was impressed though that there were no ugly people - Americans do have different standards...
We then went on to thong sala, the main city and port for some street food, a yummy pork noodle soup, spring rolls and fried unidentifiable pieces of chicken in my case and did some shopping at tesco lotus - the Thai supermarket chain. I'm still upset I didn't bring my tesco clubcard :(
To finish off the day we stopped for a sunset drink (fresh coconut) at a tiny bar with 6 chairs between thong sala and haad yaow right on the beach to watch the sunset. Upon leaving the owner happily offered us some mushrooms which we just as happily declined.

Since then the bump and we are chilling on long beach where "we" are alone until well into the late morning - absolute heaven.

The only thing that bothers me is that Thais are much less friendly than Indians. I wanted to buy a ticket to Bangkok for next week and girl in the travel agency outright refused to sell me anything except the overpriced joint ticket which includes at least 3 hours of waiting around in the sun for boats, buses and trains. Might have to stay here now.... Could be worse, Oder?
