Neil's Round the World Trip!
Chilling out today, enough said. Oh and heard Scotland got France and Italy in qualifiers..Doh!
I walked down to the market square and Salamanca Place where I updated the journal. I then walked back to the hostel and made my own wraps to save money. It's quite cold today with an overcast sky just like a miserable Scottish day.
I had gnocchi again this evening, I went up to my dorm and found the girls playing with the hostel cat (who I named Oscar). He was jumping from bunk to bunk and was really playful. I don't really like cats but he was ok. He left a trail of hairs(and fleas) though and eventually was thrown out the dorm when a German guy said he was allergic to cats.
I got my clothes from the minging laundry which was damp and had mouldy walls.
Me and the girls went to the pub later and had a few pints before the bell rang...at 10pm!! To make matters worse you can only have a half-pint as your last drink!!
I went to sleep about 11, an early night. I leave for Melbourne tomorrow. Oh and my imaginary friend Rob hasn't featured in Tasmania as him and Welshy decided to do the 60km Overland Trek so haven't seen them for days. However Rob is going to meet me in Melbourne and we're going to do the Great Ocean Road to Adelaide. The girls are going to Sydney so I'm back to travelling alone in Melbourne until Rob returns from the trek. Rob doesn't have enough cash he has texted so I might have to do a group tour.
