Tonight is our last night in Lima, and while we enjoyed our time here we are both grateful to rid ourselves of the craziness of this city. Today is our first official day in South America. We wake early and catch a taxi from our hostel into the Miraflores district in the heart of Lima...a drive that takes an entire hour because Lima is a massive city with 18 districts and over half a million people. Waking up in a foreign place is one of the best feelings a vagabond can have. The day is new and the future is wide open. We will spend the next 2 or 3 days exploring Lima, gathering any last minute supplies and getting a feel for this country that will be our home for the next 3 months or so.
