i have just had one of the best weekedn of my entire life...never stopped laughing the whole time.....so if you are a follower of my ever so intersting travel journey you will know that i have been waiting to go to the whitsundays islands for about a month...and now it has actually been and now unfortun atly itr is over... but ghere is the story of my fabulous weekend!!!

we usuayll finish work about 4pm atthe latest...but riday..the day we have to catch the 6pm bus i get home at 5.45pm...typical but after a 30min delay on the bus departure time and a quick shower later i was on the bus and raring to go....as raring as i can be after working for 10hours!!

we arrived in airlie about 8pm..checked in to the hostel and ate some food....it was supposed to be iundian..but we arrived to late soit was closed so we went for chinese but when we actually got our food it tatsed more like thai...but it was good...we then hit the town. we met up with charlotte and claire...bri and ryans friends from home and wentout to the bars and went to a proper nightclub that plays real; music as opposed to the bowen specail musci which is the same evry weeken.d. had a wicked night..had such a good time. on my home i stumbled in to maccy ds for a big mac...those of who know my eating habots...was very unusual for me...however at 2am it went down a treat!!

got up at 9am for check out..had a big greasy brekkie and went shopping and had a beer before we got the boat. left airlie on the boat about 3pm and sailed straight to southmolle isalnd where we stopped for both nights.

the island is beautful ..the rooms howvwee werent great but didnt spend muych time in them so all good. happy hour started at 5.30pm...so we were at the bar for 5.30pm...of course. had dinner at 7pm and then played a few drinking games with the rest of the boat...onw of them you had to swap your thsirt with the perosn sitting next to you...as as the photos show...some ended up worse off than others!

in bed by 10pm and up again at 6.30 to leave for 7.15. the weather on sunday morning was horrific...the waves were coming over the boat and a lot of people wer being sick....not good but after we reached whithaven beach the weather had cleared up. this is the most beautful beachinthe world...well third...the water is crystal clear and its just amazing. i swam from the boat to the shore..it was so cold though!

we spent a couple of hours there and played a few beach games. we then headed to some ref and snorkelled for a while. we got back to theisland about 5pm and got ready for dinner at 7pm.

up at the crack of dawn againand went straight to an amaing snorkelling pot...it was beautiful...i swam fromthe boat again and i t was still really cold...the swim back was really tought hough...the tide was pushing me and in other direction. the reef was amzing to see...the corals are yellow, pink,purple ...the colours of therainbow and fish are just amzing...it was so weired to swim in the shaol of tropical fish.

we had luchon the boat and got back to airlie about 3pm where we wmt for a few beers and had some food. me and carly got the bus back to bowen...only an hour on the bus...i went starigt to bed to be upfor work this morning...so i have jut done a hours corn day and it nearly killed me!

off to bed early for me tonight i think..had such a good time...woooo!!!!!
