I think its fair to say Ipoh doesn't have a massive amount to offer, but like most Malaysian cities it has beautiful architecture so isn't the worst place to spend a night. We only had an afternoon there so we decided to have a wander around the city and see what it had to offer. Then train station is definitely the highlight of the city and worth a visit alone. Other than that, there wasn't much else there.

We headed out for dinner in the local mall and decided to eat at Kenny Rogers Roasters. We're not entirely sure who Kenny Rogers is, but his beaming face watched us the entire meal.

The next morning we hopped back over to the train station and got the train heading down to Singapore. The journey was 11 hours, so not the most fun, but you start to get used to it after a while. Singapore marks the end of our overland adventure, so we have high hopes for the place!
