Went on an elephant trek today. I had a 12yr old male called biebo. He was the youngest of the group but definitely the giddiest! He was really clever too and enjoyed singing along the journey. I got the opportunity to sit up front on biebo.. It was hard to keep your balance especially going down the rocky hills. Went to visit 3 phi phi islands today on a speed boat tour.. Thankfully the rain managed to hold out and the sun was shining... It was brill! Definitely the best day so far. After a 12 hr train journey and 4 hours bus journey we arrived in krabi. The train was ok actually. We had bunk beds for the night. The only problem was the toilet facilities on the train.. It was basically a toilet with a whole in the bottom. The stench was disgusting. We then had a breakfast consisting of warm bread.. Interesting interpretation of toast! We were in the old town today visiting various temples.. to be honest once you have seen one you have seen them all. Health n safety is none existent here..
