The South Island, Queenstown, New Zealand

Queenstown has a lovely little town and reminds me of a skiing resort town. We stayed in a holiday park for three nights, near the river where you can book a ride on the best high speed boat thrill (supposedly)... The Shotover or do some white water rafting. The following day Newton, James and I went to spend the afternoon on some rapids!…

Auntie C Glad to hear you are still having a ball - can´t wait for the next instalment! Hilarious diving with a hangover - glad I don't dive! And as for loads of Chinese kids having their pics taken with drunken Santa's............. Shame it was cloudy when you went to the Blue Mountains as the scenery is spectacular there and there are some fantastic walks in the area. When we were there we cancelled a couple of nights in Sydney to extend our stay at the Blue Mountains. Keep us posted! Love, Auntie C xxxx

Auntie Bee Hi It all sounds really exciting and you seem to be having a ball. You're not missing much in good old Blighty just 3ft of snow everywhere, freezing cold and icy roads causing traffic chaos!! It's just marvellous!! not. Auntie Karen G'day Cobbers, Have you got cramp in yer fingers or something, probably lifting too many tinnies....want to know what yer up to. James I think you need some super glue for your hat and shades, I bet there's some kangeroo bouncing round looking mighty cool. Had yer pa here last weekend after he dropped yer ma off at the airport, he's fine and working hard, hes become an expert gardener now, he'll have a fruit farm next! Auntie C Come on Kids - the blog needs updating. Dying to read the next instalment and see more pics. Glad you made it to the Sky Bar at Traders, KL and to the Long Bar at Raffles. You should have stayed there and saved the half hour walk in the p-----g rain. When I was in Singapore I just had to crawl from the Long Bar to my room ..... Hope that gives you incentive to carry on working hard as it is the only way to experience what you are doing now and the more you earn the more style you can do it in!! Great to hear of your jungle experience in Oz - just keep watching out for the bugs! Tell us all about your trip on the Ghan, that is one thing I wanted to do but didn't get chance. Ah well, have to leave something behind to give a reason to go back!! Keep safe. LOLxxxxxxxxxxx

Auntie C Me again - just read your latest post and see you have been to the Cameron Highlands and done the Butterfly Farm, Tea Plantation and Strawberry Farm just as we did..... You should have tried the strawberry milkshake at the farm - it was to die for! Don't suppose you stayed in the posh looking colonial hotel opposite the golf course - no guessing who did!! If you are going to KL go for a drink at the SkyBar on the top floor of the Traders Hotel. This is the in place and they serve really interesting cocktails....The view of the Petronas Towers from here gets better as the night goes on!! Keep safe. LOL xxxxxx

Auntie C So far so good! I am soooo envious. Off to Southern Spain and Portugal next week albeit doesn't sound anywhere near as exciting as your trip is sounding........
