Again not my photo - awaiting help from OffExploring ...
Driving to Coffee Works - hope it's worth the long haul up another winding road - made doubly enjoyable (not!) by the very smelly rubbish truck crawling up just ahead of us.
We're also ravenous - packed lunch stuff (baked beans for the boys and IndoMie noodles for me) but didn't leave any eating utensils within reach.
Better yet there is no phone coverage here so I can't blog or email. Guess I should just enjoy the view. Lets see - horses, thick semi-rainforest, cane fields, forest-clad mountains, a prawn farm, more sugar cane, cows - sort of like Wanneroo but with mountains and sugar cane!
Later - CoffeeWorks was good - unlimited samples of coffee and coffee liqueurs and chocolate. Amazing museum of coffee implements.
Headed on to Atherton in search of FOOD. Not as easy as it sounds. Shop advertising hot food had none, shop selling steak sandwiches out of steak. Settled for meat pies from Brumbies. Then Tim stubbed his toe on a nasty rough-edged gutter and took off a large chunk of said toe.
We are now camped in Atherton, with the noisiest cicadas I've ever heard and masses of mozzies Bed time!
