After catching up on the sleep from our flights we headed south to see what the big island is famous for. We downloaded the "Shaka" app which gives you a tour pointing out the sights. After 3 plane flights we touched down in Kona, Hawaii for the first stop on our USA, Canada tour. We made our way to car hire grabbed the cars and hit the road. Yes there is 1 main highway around the big island with a few side roads off it. We navigated our way to hotel on south side of Kona. We're flying over SA on our way to Sydney. Clear skies, so Penny and girls enjoying the view. Me I'm hungry so waiting to be fed. Bags checked through to Kona so should be easier transit for a while. Stacey and Sue took kids into QANTAS club. I guess kids won't travel with us now unless they go there. Food coming so more to come.

It is almost time for us to depart on the Great Muggleton family adventure for a white Christmas and some quality time. The tribe include the elders of Ruth and Bruce, travel experts Stacey and Sue and us team Muggletons Go Global. Heading east to North America including Canada.
