Yesterday was spent travelling again, 2 flights to get us to Las Vegas. Arrived late at night so night sky was lit up drawing us in like moths. After checking in we hit the sack.
After dad ringing at 8:30am to see if we were awake (which we were not) we hit The Strip. Breakfast at Maccas and then some walking. Started at The Venetian with canals, bridges and a fake sky ceiling. We were offered a discount on a gondola ride, but telling her we did it in Venice she asked if she could come in my suitcase on my next holiday. From there we walked back south passing lots of other hotels/casino's on our way to the welcome to Las Vegas sign. It is at the south end of town. Long way at the south end. Took us a long time to get there, Tilds kept herself busy finding money on the ground. It was a productive day for her making $1.07 US. I offered to double up on it in the casino, but she didn't understand. We saw the fountains at The Bellagio which Emily said was better than Dubai. Inside The Bellagio was a Christmas display which was good. Stacey visited Tiffany's and we eventually found decent coffee and semi authentic gelato which kept the kids happy.
After a short relax we went out to the flashing lights and free shows of Treasure Island, The Mirage and what ever else we could find.
Viva Las Vegas from The Flamingo hotel. It still has real flamingos unlike the MGM Grand which no longer has lions.
