Well, after a morning stroll around Mykonos , we embarked on our ferry ride into Athens. An adventure that I pictured would be under blue sky and on calm waters.
Soon after we left mykonos, the blue skies disappeared, and the large swell began. This was ok, but being stuck in front of Saturday afternoon Greek tv for Nearly 6 hours was unbearable. Imagine chances, bold and the beautiful, and sylvania waters rolled into one and spoken in the Greek language that sounds like an ak47 at the best of times...... Where's the lifeboats???
Anyway, we are in Athens for a day sightseeing tomorrow, and then we have to get to the airport in Monday when there is a public transport strike.
Woo-hoo.....
Interesting fact number 63; the Aegean sea is it's unique colour because of the high salt content, this also stops it from getting as warm as other sea's. Thailand has warmer and greener sea's due to it's low salt content. ( I put these facts on the blog , because these are the facts that I find interesting, but they fall out of my head as soon as a new fact is inserted, much like my letterbox)
