A day on no phone battery means few photos, but seeing as we spent the morning shopping at Brighton and the afternoon stuck in traffic, driving back into London. We left the Cotswolds this morning and made our way across the country towards Brighton. We stopped quite by accident in the most gorgeous village with an 11th century castle, cathedral and church on top of an imposing hill. This morning started with a walk to the major oak, where robin hood allegedly met with his merrie men. The kids then had a horse ride at the stables where we are staying, before we met with the imesons for lunch. Had a great lunch, and it was fantastic to catch up with family that I hadn't seen for years! Dinner was with my uncle mick and cousin iain, before we fell into bed, unable to eat another thing!
