After a brief stay in our Bournemouth accommodation we all packed up and were in the car by 8am heading off to Stonehenge. Arriving at opening time we all braved the artic breeze on the Salisbury plains and took the audio tour around the pile of rocks, I mean Stonehenge. Tom, James, Harry and I took the speed tour .
We then drove to the historic Bath in the picturesque Avon valley. Our first stop was lunch by the weir followed by a spectacular tour of the Roman baths.
The baths were various sizes and you could see the steam rising from the surface. We listened to the audio guide which told us some interesting facts about the history of the baths. We tossed some money into the cold bath before returning our guides and dragging ourselves outside. What followed was probably the part of England you'd like to forget. We were stuck in the most horrendous traffic we had even been in. It crawled along at snail pace and it was quite frustrating.
We arrived safe and sound at Minty's Mum and dads. It was lovely to be in a home environment.
