Today we left the Novotel and the Ibis Budget and headed off to Wareham to meet Dr Lovell. Dr Lovell is a world renowned geologist who invited me to come with him on a field trip to find some fossils. Mum, Tom, James and Harry boarded an old steam engine to Corfe Castle. They spent the day exploring the castle, souvenir shops, Swanage Beach and lunch at the Greyhound Inn.
Our first stop was Kimeradge Bay and we found some fossils of ancient crustaceans. We then drove to Lulworth and had lunch. We walked down to the bay and I identified five different types of rocks and I also found oil. We drove back to Wareham and met Mum and the boys and then we said goodbye to Dr Lovell and his wife.
We drove to our accommodation at Bouremouth arriving at 6.00pm. James and Harry, (nerves not connected to their brains) went swimming in the English channel.
