After a big sleep in Dad and Ben walked to the Louvre and waited for only a short time to get in. We bought tickets and an audio guide and then entered the Denon section and walked straight for the Mona Lisa. There were dozens of people admiring the Mona Lisa and we had to push to get to the front. The painting was very beautiful and I didn't realise how small it was. We walked past many more famous paintings and then entered the Egyptian section. I really enjoyed looking at the incredible collection, most of which was more than 2000 years old and some artifacts were 4500 years old! Next we visited the Roman sculputers and my favourtie was the winged Victory. We passed a court yard filled with statues and then we passed through the medieval section. The last thing we saw was Napolean's apartments, which were easily better than the best five star hotel. Dad and I agreed that two and a half hours was definitely not enough to see the Louvre.
