Final evening in New York we spent watching the Lakers versus the Nets. Kobe Bryant is a hit even on New York turf. It was fun, the Lakers won, and the seats were pretty good.

My final day in New York we spent walking taking in the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens and Prospect Park. Starting to feel a little tired as the soles of my shoes are worn down I can feel everything under my feet. These shoes will be retired once I make it home.

One World Trade Center is 102 floors tall with a full observation deck on the 100th floor. The views of New York from this deck are spectacular. I do not believe there is a better view anywhere. The Museum informs us as to what happened and reminds us of the terrible loss, the plaza is a quiet place to reflect and to honor, a place of worship, and One World Trade Center represents rising from the ashes and soaring onward.
