Our next stop was to the beautiful Cameron Highlands. As beautiful as it was, we were not used to the cold climate that came with it, jumpers and jeans on! We visited the famous sights of the Higlands which included the honey farm, butterfly farm, strawberry farm and tea plantations. The tea plantation was both of our favourite with the extreme scenery and Morganes perfect opportunity for a picturesque photo. As readers will be aware, the rain seems to have followed us around Asia, so lo and behold it has rained no stop since we have been here.

8am bus journey to a place the I have been so excited to visit....Singapore. A long journey of buses, border changes and taxis made for a tired Morgane and Carly. Our arrival in Singapore involved mainly our mouths agape and our heads looking up at the sky scrapers that lined the sky. We grabbed a cab to Oliviers condo, a friend of Morganes godfather. When we arrived it was like i was in heaven, a building with a gym, pool and tennis courts!

Today we are visiting the famous Singapore Zoo that everyone has raved about and it definetly lived up to expectations. The zoo was seperated by moats instead of cages and it was amazing to see so many exotic animals. While in Asia I have been craving getting my netball trainers and dress on to go and get a game of my favourite sport, and finally I have found an open training session. I took the train to the Netball centre and was in awe of the amazing courts and facilities in the area. After 2 hours straight of playing games I was well and truely knackererd, and if honest a bit rusty! It was so good to get the trainers on again and do what I love. Its given me a taster of what Il be doing when we arrive in Sydney!

Up bright and early to investigate what Singapore has to offer. We started at the Botanical Gardens that we had heard were stunning, however the rain followed us yet again and after a 10 minute sweep of the gardens we had to dive for cover from raindrops the size of bowling balls (no joke, they were taking out small children!) in the tourist centre. After the storm from War of the Worlds we ventured on to China Town, embracing all the free things to do at the moment we joined the free walking tour of the area. The tour was led by the eccentric Bernard, 3 hours of amazing facts and wonders about the area, it was truly brilliant. As evening was approaching we decided to hit the Gardens by the Bay. Giant sculptures covered in lights made us feel like ants as we wandered around the area. Right next to this was the incredible Marina Sands hotel. We took the lift up the 50 floors to the bar to see the view out across the city. Breathtaking isnt the word, it was unbelievable...well worth the $27 cocktail we had to pay to stay up there.

Our final day in this incredible place and we decided to join another free tour of India town with our new friend and tour guide, Bernard. Sari demonstrations and food tasting made for another great 3 hours. After the tour we decided to do one of my favourite pass times....shopping. My bag is about the explode as it is so looks like we will be sending more stuff home! This evening, along with Olivier and his family we went across to the island attached to Singapore for dinner. As if Singapore hadnt wet my netball taste buds enough, we were sat next to the international teams taking part in the nations cup...wow! Singapore has been a great place to visit, if a little strict with its rules!
