Hi everyone Apologies again for the lack of photos - we've got some crackers but stupid Oz computers are not cooperating. Since last update we've done a 3 day boat sailing trip around the Whitsunday Islands. This consists of getting a bit sea-sick in choppy waters then going out for a snorkle in the Great Barrier Reef. This really has to be seen to be believed - huge variety of unbelievable fish and coral. We also stumbled across a 1.5m reef shark, which was slightly alarming but a great experience. Evenings consisted of drinking large quantities of lager (Tooheys New and XXXX Bitter) followed by copious quantities of cheap boxes of wine that everyone calls 'Goon'. We are now becoming legendary for our extensive array of drinking games and even got the captain involved in a few! We slept on deck under the stars and got up really early although they had tea so it was ok. When we got back we managed to get the whole boat out for (you guessed it) yet another piss up. Heavy night out til 5 - good stuff. We then headed out to magnetic island where we attended a full moon party, which was cool and scimped on accomodation by dumping our bags in other people's rooms then heading out all night (or sharing a bed with someone). Just arrived in Cairns and in the best hostel ever - looking forward to another big one tonight! Promise we'll have these photos on soon - hopefully tomorrow The boys
