On the first day of Sukkot October 13, 1886 was consecrated the mall Synagogue. In 1888 dome of the building of the Great Synagogue was decorated with ornaments, and construction was completed.On Dec. 8, 1893, there was a solemn ceremony of consecration of the Great Synagogue. It was a real holiday for all Russian Jews. Community leaders opened a silver key central door to the hall and entered with seven Torah scrolls. At the opening of the rabbi expressed his hope that the new church "will be the beginning of the temple of the future temple of universal love and peace on earth."
