It's today, at last, after 5/6 months of waiting (which flew by soooo quickly!) that I will be jetting off! *gulps*

The weekend before the departure date, I had my closest friends to come around for the weekend, we had a bbq and went out for the night. I was actually so touched that I got cards and presents from them, which was just totally unexpected.

Got a lovely bracelet from Lisa, Pimms from Calum, and cheeky Jacob got me an england flag camera case..!! I actually needed a camera case so it's great!! He also got me a first aid kit which is pretty useful and is a definite use when I am over there. His sister Camilla also gave me some ADORABLE socks which I am excited about wearing when I return to the chilly land! Ben got me a pen! Which is so going in my make up case so I will have emergency pen at ready! Thank you for them! Hugs hugs hugs.

Saying goodbye to them on Sunday was a bit weird, even though I will be seeing them again but I sure will miss them a lot so I felt really sad. So they will be smothered with the endless hugs and sloppy kisses when I'm back. :D

Me being such a girl..I found picking out which bikinis & swim costumes to bring very hard as I have like 7 pairs so I've settled with 4..I probably will take all of them just before I go, knowing what I'm like! I've opted for 3 nail varnishes, even it is not necessary but IT'S ME! Gotta have my nails pretty!
I got so stressed with packing, all of things I got would NOT FIT IN. I think if my sister didn't step in and help out.. I probably would have ripped the bag in half but at the end, they all got packed in so I am relieved...but now I'm thinking 'what if i forgot.... did i bring it.. is it enough..' argh.

Bless my parents; they bought me a video camera which is waterproof, dustproof and shockproof. IN BLUE! It is small, and very easy to carry around! So I will be doing a bit of filming! :D Thank you daddy & mummy!

On my last entry blog, I wrote about how I was feeling about this trip.. it has completely changed after having my friends around at my house beforehand, the encouragement and such lovely comments from them has made me feel better and much more confident about this trip. :)

Just had a long hot bath, and a cup of tea...Probably the two things I will really miss having when I'm away!

Now I'm packed, all ready.. I actually have just peeked in my bag to check for my passport and flight boarding pass! HELLO Sri Lanka!
