hello.

we have been driving all around new zealand in our little white car which has been brilliant. there is so much to do that a month seems like not enough. we have been on a really fast boat to cruise around the bay of island, on quad bikes up the 90 mile beach (which is apparently only 47 miles), white water rafting in rotuara down a 7m waterfall that is the largest raftable falls in the world. to top it off we have just done a sky dive which crazy as it didn't seem real at all. It all happens so quickly you hardly realise you are falling. The hostels are fun and we are trying to cut down on food costs by cooking all ourselves as everything we are doing adds up.

as well as being hardcore thrill seekers we have also managed to go to two spa's in roturua one which we had a brilliant mud bath. we visited the wai-o-tapu (i think) thermal place which was cool as there were huge boiling hot pools and a huge bright green pool of water.

we are off to wellington tomorrow and then off to the south island where it is supposed to be really cold....we may need to buy some more suitable clothing.
