Little Mick's Hunny Harem Extravanganza
Hi gang,
I don't really have time to finish off the travel update from the the US, but will try to add them at some stage. I have now been in NZ a week and to be honest things were pretty slow to start with. Whether that is because nothing will compare to the friends and time I spent in the US or that I was just totally drained and needed a few days detox I'm not sure, but whateva!
Yesterday was one of the craziest days of my life. I flew up to 12,000 ft, put my legs over the side of a plane and jumped out!!!! Yehaa Nada! It is one of the most amazing things to do - & I'm still alive! Free falling at 280 km/h is unbelieveable and the views over lake tapou were great! I thought the bungy in Vegas was bad but it was nothing compared to this. To be honest it was fairly easy all I had to do was jump and then dangle in the air whilst the instructor did the work!
The day before that I was black water rafting which was basically going through caves with a rubber ring. That was good fun also and we did some good climbs up waterfalls and some good jumps!
The atmosphere over here is amazing with the lions on tour. All of my bus were supposed to meet at 5:30 last saturday for a warm up beer for the lions Vs the Maori's. At 6:30 I had been sat in the bar for an hour on my todd when the first of the crowd off the bus came in. They all watched the match, but left about 15 minutes after. That meant I had to drink with a Maori guy called Billy and his wife. They were sound and we headed off to a local club. 4am when I stumbled back to the hostel and then had to get up at 7! The first bus I was on was pretty lamo, but I am changing today for another bus. I met most of the crowd last night and they are up for partying! I'm not sure if they are up for Mick O'Connor partying, but watch this space. If their not then sooty and co will be in for one hell of a session!!! I must say the soundest people on my bus were a couple from Dublin called Samantha and Aarron. They are on holiday for a month or so and have been good craic!
