Today was 'International Suit Up Day' so I went to Tamagawa and Yokohama in the most suit like things I have with me. At Tamagawa again for Eriko's English pronounciation class where I sat up the back for most of the class and then got asked to come up the front to pronounce "singer" and "stronger" for them about 8 times. It was quite funny actually, one of the students who looked about 40, asked me to say it again about 3 times.
After that class, I went with Eriko and her friend Hiroki to Yokohama, which is the Tokyo's China town. Hiroki is a really cool guy who surfs so he gets massive respect. He knew Yokohama really well so it good to follow someone around who actually knew where they were going. It was quite different to China town in Melbourne actually, it was a lot bigger, like melbourne's on steroids, and rather than just big restaurants there were mainly just little food places where we got little dumpling and things like that and had them as we kept walking round. There were also a lot of little souvenir shops as well. But while we were walking round I managed to get a photo with 4 Japanese businessmen, who were clearly participating in International suit up day as well.
