Today was a great day, even though it was raining literally all day. I went and had lunch with my host family from the exchange, and then went to Komae (where I'm staying) Festival. Today went with Aki to Asakusa, which is an old town that is very popular with tourists for the temples there. They also have these incenses things burning in this pit that are meant to have healing power. It's really funny though because the little incense things have swastikas on them. But my camera screwed up right as we were leaving Asakusa so I'll have to buy a new one when I get back from Kyoto. Then after that we went to Shibuya which is right in the hea...

Went to Tamagawa University for an English pronunciation class with Eriko and I'm now going to help teach the class next week. It was also Eriko's sister Arisa's birthday as you can see. I think she enjoyed the day but was a bit surprised at the singing card i got her... it had fold out dancing cats and everything.

Went to a lecture for foreign affairs, which was all in japanese of course. So that was interesting... But after that, saw Asaki and went to Karaoke ... again. But its still fun and I plan to go a lot more.
