Today I woke up reasonably early, chatted to the Argentinian guys (Martin and Gabriel) and an older American guy, Tim and Josie over breakfast. Then I went up the stairs and played piano for a while and then got ready for a surf. I went back to the same surf shop where I got the board the other day but they had a 6'4" board that suited me a lot better. The waves were quite a bit smaller than they were the other day, more at my level. I ended up staying at for about two and a half hours and did pretty well. The board definitely was a lot easier for me. I stayed on the beach to sunbake and dry off for a while before going back to the hostel and then going out for lunch. Then I came back to the hostel and just chilled for a while before going back down for another surf for an hour. The American guy Tim also came down with me and had a go on the board first for a while. He only really managed to catch one wave and didn't even attempt to stand up, but he was very appreciative. He had another go at the end as well and gave me a chance to dry off.
Then I went back to the hostel and my other teriyaki chicken bowl which was excellent. I went up stairs and hung out with people up there before going to bed reasonably early. I should also mention I saw a 10 inch centipede in the bathroom which kind of unnerved me a bit considering I was sleeping near where it was.
