Up and at it very early with a 645am pick up for our tour to the Condor Canyon. The drive through the canyon was spectacular. Every angle was amazing, we even saw the active Volcano smoking. It last erupted in the 90's and is now expected to erupt anytime. We wound around switch backs higher and further into the canyon. Up bright and early at 430am. Luis, Sylvia and his sister and brother in law all woke up to see us off. Luis and his brother in law took us into Puno in the wee boat in the dark. Up at 630 for breakfast then back out on the boat with Luis to bring in his nets. Luis is learning English so most of our explanations are broken but we eventually understand. We are learning from each other. The fish in the nets were very small but apparently very delicious. A great way to start the day. The coffee and milk come in these little jugs, you pour the coffee in to your own cup depending on how strong you like it then there is hot water in a thermos.
