Gayle, I am soooo impressed at the up-keep of the blogs etc. God, I've been home for nearly a month and STILL haven't even looked at all our (2 THOUSAND!!) photos, nevermind written wee spiels about each destination. I guess that must be the teacher in you eh?! Weirdly, the waterfalls in Bonito remind me of some photos I have of some in Croatia and I bet the favelas were an eye-opening experience eh? Ross and I saw plenty of suffering over in Eastern europe too, it's nae good like. We are back in Glasgow looking for jobs now. Enjoy the travels while they last! And if you manage to blog-it the whole year I will be well impressed. looking forward to your next installment. xxx

Quick update on the girls for those of you who are waiting to hear about New Zealand. The girls were bumped off the flight from Santiago yesterday and ended up in Los Angeles for a night! I'm sure they will fill you all in shortly. They are currently on a long haul from L.A. to Auckland.

Hi Gayle. Been reading your latest exploits in Brazil. Piranha for tea sounds great! Tesco's seems boring beside your gourment delights. When do you move on? Pic's are great as well. Enjoyed my stay in Kemnay and the cats kept me occupied - they are great. Hope this finds you both fit and well, Uncle Alan xx

Hi Gayle,
So good to hear from you! Have been enjoying all your updates and photos, what an exciting adventure!
And do I read correctly that you are both coming to Australia?!?! I'm living in Brisbane now with my boyfriend - moving to Melbourne just before Christmas. What are your plans while you're here? Would love to meet up again, so excited that you're headed down under.
Enjoy the rest of South America!
Hannah.
