Hey all, so i made the 12 hour bus journey and arrived at 6am on Thursday to this surfer town called Puerto Escondido. It's fairly touristy but quiet at the moment and it's great. Weather is fab, 30 degrees and the beach is gorgeous. Pacific side of the coast so not crystal clear waters but getting to watch the waves (oh and surfers) and the strength of the ocean is amazing to watch. Not doing much else here than chilling, oh and drinking too. My hostel is great and I have met loads of nice people and two Swedish girls who I am spending time with. Oh and I just happened to have the most amazing burger here in my life, well i've had 3 actually so far, everyone agrees they are the best which is a pretty mean feat considering the amount of burgers I have consumed in my lifetime!

Having a night in tonight at the hostel with everyone. I only planned to stay here 3 days but it's a hard place to leave and actually feels like a proper holiday. Nice to be chilling for once and taking everything at it's pace.

So think I am going to leave here for San Cristobel on Tuesday night. Hoping to spend the day of the dead there which is the Mexican halloween and I am really looking forward to it. Sadly to say means that i won't be able to take part in that miss puerto escondido contest Lucy but I guess there will be other opportunities!! haha
