Well what a day.... Left the hotel at 6am very sad to say goodbye to Hoi An. We left from Da Nang airport and having arrived in plenty of time to catch the 8:05 flight we were booked on... So we thought.... There was a massive check in area but only 4 or 5 desks open. On top of that there were 10 flights leaving in one hour, and the luggage conveyor belt was broken and the printer stopped working meant that we only checked in at 8 am :-( fear not we were on the plane at 8:20 as they waited for us and we were delayed again anyway and finally took off at 9:00. That delay would cost us later on... After we touched down in Saigon and fought our way through the traffic to the Victory Hotel which is a government run establishment and by far the worst hotel we have stayed in. Quick turn around and out for lunch and then onto Cu Chi tunnels which were fantastic. This however did mean a 2 hour journey there and a mammoth 3 hour journey back... As we hit rush hour in Saigon. We were all very quiet at dinner and then back to bed after a very long day.
