I had managed to pack a majority of my things together last night when we got in but finished off the rest of it when we woke up. We checked out at 10:30 and the plan last night was to meet the others at 7/eleven at 11:30 but as we were just about to get up to meet them we saw them walking towards us. We dropped our bags in reception as we didn't want to carry them around with us and proceeded to the small cafe called "Blue chair" to get some breakfast. We all went for the same thing except beth who got egg and chips. The breakfast was tasty and we were joined by a dog called Trevor who had followed them all the way from their guesthouse to ours.

Once we had all finished eating we headed down towards their bungalow to book a boat ticket to Koh Phangan. Dan and i were undecided about if we wanted to go back but we thought that we might as well as seen as the others are going and it would be nice to spend more time with them. Before booking the ticket, we all went into the quirky shop that i had told jacky about to have a look around in. The waist coat i had wanted was no longer there but i don't think i would have spent the 380TB on it anyway. Jacky, however bought herself a lovely silver ring and a suede bum bag to put all her bits and bobs in as she always takes her backpack out on nights out with her. I knew she would like the shop. Daniel was looking at the buddah rings but decided against getting one as it felt really light to hold. Once jackie had purchased her new things (she blamed me) we all headed to book our boat ticket to Koh phangan. We sat in the office while the woman booked it and pretty much stayed there until we got picked up. Daniel went back to our hotel to pock up the backpacks beforehand.

The taxi came and we all clambered on board the journey which took us to the pier. It was a very, very hot day so dan and i went to buy a cold drink while we were waiting to get on the boat and as we were walking back we met eddy who had run to find us as everyone was boarding the boat. The journey took a lot longer than expected and we managed to sleep for quite a bit of it, it must have taken around 2.5 hours until we arrived again at Koh phangan. When we got off the catamaran, we were greeted by a man working for Great bay hotel which is where we stayed before and he said that he could put all five of us in a room for 200TB each which is £4. That sounded like a good deal sonwe all got in the back of his truck taxi thing and made our way to the resort. We asked if we could stop at 7/eleven on the way which he agreed to, he was very friendly.

We stocked up on three bottles of vodka called "white spirits" which doesn't sound too appealing and lots of cartons of juice like kiwi, pineapple and orange. We also got some snacks for later as we didn't know if we would head back out again. We paid up and carried all the bags back to the taxi and continued the journey to the resort. When we got there we saw kelly who remembered us and she gave us the biggest room right by the beach and pool which has five beds, air con and a bathroom for 1,000TB. She then asked us if we wanted anything to smoke, we had some already but daniel decided to spend another grand on a bunch of weed but i'm sure it would all get smoked before we have to leave the country. Once we settled in we all jumped in the pool and played a game of catch with a volleyball and a basketball. It wasn't busy at the resort at all, not compared to the days gearing up for full moon party. Jacky brought out her speakers and we had our own little pool party.

We all slowly got showered and changed and sat outside our room by the pool drinking and playing cards. We were toying with the idea of going to the half moon festival tonight but the 600TB entry fee is a bit of a spanner in the works. We played cards and drank until the sun set and Kelly approached us asking if we would like a taxi for tonight assuming we were all going to the party which is when we all decided we might as well go, although i still wasn't bothered at this point but didn't want to be the only one who didn't go. Daniel said he would stay with me but i know he would spend the night regretting it.

The girls started to get ready and we ended up all dressing to match. Jacky lent me one of her tops; a floral crop top with a bow on the back and she lent one to beth too and we all wore our sarongs tied around our waist. At first i was wearing the drop top with grey shorts but they all made me wear my pink sarong instead. I felt like a bit of a slut if i'm being honest but i had the comfort of knowing the other two girls would also be looking like sluts with me. I was a bit tipsy and so decided to have a go on the swing hat hangs from the tree outside our room. Dan and Eddy were both pushing me so i went quite high which was fun, until i felt an almighty strength grab the plank of wood i was sitting on and rise it higher and higher. I looked down to investigate what kind of hulk had taken control of the pushing and saw a tanned muscular man under me and he let the swing go and pushed me at the same time and the swing went soaring right up into the air. It was so scary but so thrilling at the same time, until it swung back and the rope caught hold of one of the branches and the swing got tangled up and i had to quickly jump off the swing. I grazed my leg and got the most horrific rope burn on my hand. As i stumbled off he came up to me looking so worried constantly saying how sorry he was so i smiled and said it was fine as i limped back to the room to run my hand under cold water. It burned. SO much! Nothing i did made the rope burn stop, the swing was f***ed too.

The pain put me a bit out of sorts but i soon cheered up posing for charlie's angels photos with beth and jacky. The taxi came for us at 23:00 and when we walked up to it there was no way we could have all fitted inside. Dan and I were going to wait for another taxi but jacky and eddy told us to get in so jacky and i were sat on the floor of the truck literally on peoples toes while Eddy and Daniel were hanging out of the back. There were about 12 people inside and eddy was swinging around and hanging off the back which gave beth a heart attack. The journey was bumpy and i couldn't feel my bum let alone i kept Bashing into peoples knees.

As soon as we stepped out of the taxi a shady man approached us offering MDMA and cocaine, it was one of those parties. I should have guessed knowing all the trance music that was blaring from the venue in the jungle. We walked up a small path where locals had set of stalls selling food, buckets and UV paint. We lined up at the ticket office to pay the 600TB, i felt robbed. The venue was decorated as if you were in an acid trip. Music was blaring from speakers dotted around the jungle and there was a center stage with a big canope of decorations over it. With our entry, we got a token for a free drink but my tummy wasn't feeling too good so i opted for a bottle of water.

The others began dancing but i wasn't in the mood, talk of drugs put me right off it. Why buy drugs when you can just drink or get a balloon? The night went on and i perked up a little bit so began to dance but eddy went home with beth because someone had stepped on her toe that she thinks is broken and so it hurts her too much to walk let alone dance. The party reminded me a bit of camden, they played only psy trance and there were many different kinds of people there: oldies, young ones, ket heads, africans, just so many people all enjoying themselves. Jacky was having a blast as everytime i saw her she was dancing with a massive smile on her face. I went to buy a balloon which was twice as much as we usually pay but it was also twice as big as well and that went down a treat, i shared it with Jacky and Daniel. Dan and i spotted the old man who was staying at great bay the last time we were there and so on our way out, after saying goodbye to jacky we waved hello to him and he decided to leave with us and we would all get a taxi together. We left jacky dancing with a few french men but she was enjoying herself and is in her element, we can probably expect her back home at around midday. As we walked out with the old german man named Ben, we were handed a CD of trance music which was included in the ticket price. We were greeted by lots of cabbies so we tried to cut a deal with them. We bumped into a couple who are also staying at the same hotel so we all got together to try and get a good price. What happened was that we were just loaded onto a taxi where there were already four others waiting ti leave but the drivers like to wait until they can cram as many people on as possible. Three more people got on the taxi and we finally left to drop us all back. He drove right up to the front and let us all out and we all stumbled to our rooms to roll a joint. When we got in, Beth and Eddy were fast asleep with the tv on so we quietly rolled on the floor with the light from the TV and sat by the pool to smoke.

I remembered who Eddy reminds me of: lieutenant day from forrest gump!
