We had a bit of a lay in today as we didn't really have anything planned. We were contemlating renting the scooter again t drive to a waterfall type rocky thing but it ate u so much fuel really quickly we decided not to. We walked up to monkey republic and booked three nights at monkey island in koh rong. It's $25 a night for a hut right on the beach. We booked to get there by slowboat which would take two hours, it was the cheaper option. We sat down in the reastaurant and ordered two little english' for breakfast. This included toast, heinz baked beans, sausage and egg. We booked monkey island because that's where laura and ben are staying and they said it's really nice.

After breakfast, we both felt like it was too hot for another day at the beach so we headed back to the guesthouse to chill. We literally did nothing at our guesthouse until it got to 16;30 when we began getting ready to meet laura and ben at monkey republic for 17:00, that's when they're due back from Koh Rong. We left the room and walked u the steep road to monkey reublic to meet laura. It was passed 17:00 and there was no sign of them but nothing ever runs on time in this part of the world. As we were sitting, drinking beer, a german boy who was sat next to us asked if we wanted his joint as he was crossing the border and wanted to keep a clear head. We compromised and said we would smoke it with him so we got up to go to the place where all the rooms and dorms are and then Laura and ben arrived, looking a bit fed up. Turns out they were having a bit of a domestic but we said that we'll be two minutes as we're just going to quickly smoke with the ginger german in the huf snapback.

The germans were paying $12 a night and monkey republic charge $18 for a room so we got a bargain with GBT guesthouse as we are only paying 8. We went back to laura and ben. They had just ordered food and laura came to sit with me for a bit and we chatted about what happened with ben. Dan then joined us and we spoke about koh rong, getting loads of tips from laura. It sounds so perfect i can't wait to get there! Laura went off to eat with ben when her food arrived and when they'd finished we were joined by ben who had a chat with us and then laura joined us again. We only got to chat for around 10 minutes until their coach pulled up so they had to go. I said we would go to oxford to visit them when we are back home.

We ordered food a while later. I got a cheese and baked beans toastie and we shares chips, Daniel got a tuna baguette as always. When we finished the food, which was really tasty, we walked back to our guesthouse to pack our belongings together ready for our trip to Koh rong the following morning.
