So we met another couple on the way from the boat port to the guesthouse and decided to make a foursome for a few days and share the cost of a car and stuff. We spent one day on the beach sunbathing after a night on the town recovering, We met Noel, Berndien and Bastian (who was from Germany and that was his name 'Germany!) When we got the car we discovered we could go around the whole of the island in about 1 and a half hours, so we made some stop offs along the way to see some sights and take some pictures, and we got to have a drive which we have missed doing!. We went to see the Mummified Monk, who died 30 years or so ago and had requsted that his body be kept and put into a Lotus position (praying) which they did and we went to see, was a bit weird but while we were there we were blessed and given blessed bracelets (see *). We went ot Grandpa and Grandma stone, make of it what you will, I say no more! For such a popular Island there really wasn't much to do at all and we had decided to spend just 3 nights there and move on but unfortunately I ate something dodgy somewhrere along the way and was really ill for a few days. I have never ever been so ill in all my life, Aaron was in the pub watching the match and by the time he got home I was in such a state, he really didn't know what to do for the best! So goes without saying that we actually stayed on the island for a further 2 nights so that I could recover and start eating again. I was told not to eat for at least...AT LEAST 48 hours, but even if I anted to I couldn't, I spent 2 whole days in a hammock on the beach sleeping! Not a bad way to recover though eh! When I finally got 2 pieces of dry toast down me I was offically well in Aarons eyes and the ticket was booked to move on to another Island!*Can I just mention that after the 'blessing' Noel tripped and cut open his foot about 30 secons later and I got the bug that nearly killed me!
