After Cusco 2400 m we flew back to Lima for a night and went on a city night tour which was rather splendid with all the christmas lights. We then went to a folk show which didn't include panpipes. We flew on to Quito which is about 2800m and I am sufferring a bit with the altitude,but I suspect it is more to do with the air pollution here. We are now in Cusco. We had one night in Chevay and went to see the Condors. John OK with the altitude sickness but I suffered. Went on to Puno for two nights and had a trip on lake Titicaca to see the island with the last 2000 pure Incas. We also went on to some floating reed islands. All very interesting but I have only just got rid of the headache due to the altitude. Trip worthwhile though.
