After a long and uneventful flight, we have landed to a complete chaos! When leaving the airport, we were told by Avantika that there will be a taxi waiting, all we had to do is to look for a driver with our names on the placard....except that there werent any! We franactically texted Avantika for help and not got anything back from her. I was in a panic mode while Arran tried his absolute best to keep me calm, it hadnt worked. We were swamped by taxi drivers offering their services. Still nothing from Avantika! I can imagine we looked like complete idiots. We were in joggers and jumper with our bags on a trolly with a stunned/panicked expression on our face. It was 5am in India and it was absolutely boiling. After a long depressing British winter, I have actually forgotten what it like to be hot! Finally, we had a plan, to book our own taxi to Avantika's after panicking for a good hour. I actually wanted to get back on the plane and go home! Our bags was packed on top of a taxi, very loosely tied! We kept looking for shadows to make sure our bags was still on top of the taxi. 7am, finally some sleep!
