Well I have to say that the Salar de Uyuni has been one of the best things we have seen so far on our travels.

We arrived in Uyuni late at night, after a 7 hour train ride so we literally found a hostel and went to sleep. The following day, we managed to book on to a 3 day tour which left that morning, along with 4 other people, and the driver of our 4 by 4. Once we had loaded up the truck with everything we would need for the 3 days, we set off for Day 1 of our tour!!

Our first day was pretty much a full day of driving, which was good as this meant that we were getting the worst part over with quickly. At the beginning of the journey, we stopped off at an old train cemetry which was cool, as we got to climb up on very old abandoned trains and have a look inside them.

It was a hot and bumpy ride as we drove through the almost dessert like land, which reminded me a bit of the Australian outback.
