Today we move on from Miami, it's been a weird few days some good (hotel, beach, food, some of the people ), some bad experiences (greyhound ticket staff, some people and the Miami attitude!). We are officially reaching the end of the South American leg of our trip and it's been amazing. There have been loads of high points particularly the Iguassu Falls, the beaches in Rio and Christ the Redeemer. Just arrived at our first hostel, we are now in Peru!! I'll be writing more later but we have at least some Internet connectivity, tired and hungry and done a 5+ hour flight to arrive. We have 1 day/night here so off to go make the most of it. Rio de Janeiro now behind us and my sunburn clearing up!

Hello again world, we have left Paraty now and not soon enough, it was a pretty little colonial town that was as it was over 100 years ago from the time of the gold rush where it was abandoned for a long while and now is a tourist trap of a destination.
