Today we move on from Miami, it's been a weird few days some good (hotel, beach, food, some of the people ), some bad experiences (greyhound ticket staff, some people and the Miami attitude!). We're holed up now, bags packed and in the hotel reception figuring out some things for our next stops whilst we have time and Internet access.
Gators!! We today went to the Everglades and visited Gator park, we had a ride on a fan boat across the swamp (grass lands) we saw some Gators, some birds and some turtles it was good fun and incredibly noisy (ear plugs provided and used!) we got plenty of pics and then watched a gator show of some guy jumping on a gator and putting his hand in it's mouth (only in America).. We even poked/stroked a little gator but turned down the chance to hold a little one for the tourists as they liked to do the obligatory charges (tips for everything culture) and it could quickly get silly and out of hand, plus I am a Yorkshire man with tight pockets and a lock on my wallet ;) we get the first Greyhound bus tonight and it's an overnight one, so on to Tampa for a short duration transfer, then on to Crystal River where we'll be having a 2 day stopover.
